It is because people have not yet realized that the “belief” witnessing system can only be built in the metaverse, on the digital Earth. It is not suitable and should not be built on the physical Earth.
Apparently, Kevin Kelly himself has not realized this point. As a result, his book “Out of Control” has a significant and fatal flaw. If a global-scale distributed self-organizing system is genuinely built on the physical Earth, it might bring new and even more significant disasters to humanity. This is because human society already has the ability to change the Earth’s ecology, and it is this ability that determines it should not be used. The reason why bees, ants, forest organisms, and deep-sea organisms can do so is that they do not have the ability to change the Earth’s ecology. In a distributed system where nodes have a high degree of autonomy, once these nodes have the ability to change the Earth’s ecology, the risks faced by our planet would be too great. To illustrate this point, let’s take modern capitalism as an example and see where the crux of the problem lies.
In a sense, the global modern capitalist system is an “out of control” distributed self-organizing system. However, the fundamental problem it causes also lies here. Since humans have the ability to change the Earth’s ecology, human nodes, driven by interests, can act autonomously without any management. As a result, underground coal mines have been exploited, underground oil has been extracted, massive hydroelectric stations have been established on the surface, and the balance of the Earth’s crust formed over hundreds of thousands of years has been disrupted. Moreover, even if global capitalism had an invisible top layer, it could not be held responsible for the Earth’s ecology. Returning to our main topic, the United Nations and humanity need money for self-rescue, but where does this money come from? The most effective and fundamental method is: “Print money for ourselves and use the money we print.” In other words, we need to construct a new economic system different from existing capitalism. We believe that in today’s era, building a new economic system is very simple and easy, as long as people’s cognition can change. However, the difficulty lies in the fact that changing people’s cognition is challenging because people do not believe. We have discovered from successful cases of capitalist development that “belief” can be achieved through specific methods. As long as a successful witnessing system is built, even the most skeptical people will eventually have to believe. What we are talking about now, constructing a global-scale distributed new economic system, is building a “belief” witnessing system. And this is precisely the United Nations self-rescue and humanity self-rescue solution we propose.
Given this, we currently have only three paths to take in building such a system.
The first path, the Material Earth Path. It is still built on our material Earth. However, the premise is not to destroy any ecological structure of the Earth and ensure that the Earth’s ecological balance and health are not adversely affected. The question is, on this material Earth, who has the authority to make such decisions, establish such rules, and who has the power and credibility to enforce these decisions and maintain these rules? The United Nations cannot do it, and no other country can either. This path is obviously unworkable.

After all, countless people are building new economic systems in the metaverse every day. Or, you can think of them as building different witnessing systems. Even Bitcoin was initially built by an individual or team named Satoshi Nakamoto. As of the time I am writing this text, its total market value is over 600 billion US dollars. Bitcoin is still an emerging, most primitive “belief” witnessing system. Because it does not follow the three core principles of building a distributed new economic system that we summarized earlier, it is still deeply influenced by traditional capital. Whether it can grow into a successful witnessing system in the future depends on its game with traditional capital.
The Famland distributed new economic system that we will elaborate on in the next section is a “belief” witnessing system built in strict accordance with the three core principles. It can not only completely break free from the control of traditional capital but also form a new economic ecology with unlimited wealth growth that has never appeared in human history. It will guide human society from the era of material civilization to the era of spiritual civilization. Because this witnessing system can self-adapt, self-coordinate, self-organize, and even self-correct the irrational factors in the fictional story, allowing the witnessing system to move towards success in its continuous self-evolution.

The method of belief can evolve continuously, but how long does this continuous evolution process take? Capitalism, although it has its witnessing system, has taken hundreds of years to continuously improve and make the majority of people in this world believe in it. 既然如此，从目前情况看，要构建这样的系统，我们只有三条路可走。

第二条路，宇宙星球之路。不在物质地球上构建，而去到宇宙外星球上构建。比如马斯克的火星开发计划。问题是，即若干年后计划成功，火星上也不适合亿万大众移民，更不适合亿万大众居住、生活和开发。更何况火星开发是由马斯克的股份公司运营，就算未来构建起了一个分布式管理体系，也不可能让物质地球上的每一个人受益。这条路显然也行不通。
第三条路，数字地球之路。不在物质地球上构建，而是在元宇宙的数字地球上构建。物质地球上的每一个人都可以参与，每一个人都可以受益。而且，只要大家愿意，立即就可以参与、立即就可以受益。更重要的是，在这里，无论你节点有多大的能力，多么不计后果，都绝不可能伤害到数字地球生态。相反，你能力越大，说明你对数字地球生态的贡献越大。显然，这是当下唯一可行之路。

感恩造物主、感恩新时代。今天的人类社会，在元宇宙中创造一个更为迅捷、更为高效见证体系的条件已经成熟了。这个更好的见证体系，完全可以在更短时间内让世界上绝大多数人相信、信得足。
